Get to know Löffels Landhaus

The unmistakable history of the almost 200-year-old property and the unique potato dishes from the country house kitchen make the restaurant exceptional.

The original stable of the former farm was last home to a puppet theatre. Even today, the original theatre stage is an eye-catcher in the room. The covered inner courtyard and the historic vaulted cellar also combine old building fabric with modern furnishings. During the summer months, the restaurant's own garden, located directly on the medieval city wall, invites you to linger in the greenery.

In terms of cuisine, you can expect a varied selection of in-house creations and potato dishes. The absolute specialty here is the Eifler Landhausschnitzel, where meat, fish, or vegetarian specialties are wrapped in freshly grated Eifler potatoes and fried in rapeseed oil until crispy. For all dishes, mainly food from the Eifel natural region and from local agriculture is processed and served.

The "Eifler Landhausschnitzel" ®

Is the specialty in Löffels Landhaus and also a registered trademark at the German Patent and Trademark Office! This in-house creation is a special recommendation when visiting our restaurant.

No matter which "Eifler" you choose, we pack the ingredient with freshly grated and well-seasoned potatoes and fry everything in pure rapeseed oil until crispy brown. This meal is served with a selection of salads of the season.
